Browser and PWA
Khatamly is a web app at khatamly.com and can be added to your device’s home screen where supported. Use an up-to-date Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox. Feature availability varies; we have not certified every device or browser version. Embedded browsers inside other apps may restrict sign-in, downloads or notifications. Open the link in your main browser if something does not work.
iPhone and iPad notifications
Web push on iPhone and iPad requires iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later and an app added to the Home Screen. Open the installed Khatamly app, then use Notifications in Settings to request permission. If you previously blocked it, change the permission in the device’s notification settings first. Focus modes can silence delivery.
Apple WebKit: Home Screen notificationsAndroid and desktop notifications
Notifications require a browser with web-push support, permission for this site and an active connection when delivery occurs. Browser or operating-system settings can block them. Khatamly cannot override a denied permission. The app’s notification controls explain whether your current device supports them.
Connection and saved reading
Use an internet connection for sign-in, SMS verification, choosing portions and saving completion. Cached pages may remain visible offline, but offline progress updates are not guaranteed. A page turn alone does not mark reading complete. Confirm completion and wait for the success message before assuming it has saved.
Books and navigation
Quran editions are 15-line Uthmani, 15-line Indo-Pak and 13-line Indo-Pak; there is no 13-line Uthmani edition. Dala’il al-Khayrat is available in Arabic and English, and Qasida Burdah includes Arabic, transliteration and English meaning. Choose editions with the cog on Mus’hafs. Arabic books advance by tapping left; English Dala’il advances by tapping right. Page bookmarks are stored on the current device. Para 30 individual-surah completion is manual.
